Timothy Fisher draws on his deep experience as an employment attorney to help clients navigate the complex and ever-changing field of employment law. Whether as a litigator or a trusted advisor outside of litigation, Tim seeks to tailor effective legal services to each client’s particular needs.
As a litigator, Tim handles class actions, representative actions, and single-plaintiff cases covering a broad range of employment issues including wage and hour law, wrongful termination, discrimination, retaliation, harassment, reasonable accommodations, leaves of absence, and breach of contract. Tim vigorously represents clients in federal courts and state courts and before administrative agencies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), California Department of Fair Employment and Housing (DFEH), and the California Division of Labor Standards Enforcement (DLSE). Clients also frequently call upon Tim’s litigation experience and incisive thinking to assist in various commercial litigation matters outside of employment law.
As an advisor, Tim helps clients on an equally broad range of employment law issues, including wage and hour audits, employment policies and employee handbooks, workplace investigations, and high-risk terminations.
Before attending law school, Tim was a Teach For America corps member and a teacher in the Los Angeles Unified School District. Tim credits the communication skills he honed as a teacher for much of his success as an attorney.
