Sharon’s practice focuses on the representation of a major automotive manufacturer in litigation involving the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act, with special emphasis on handling discovery-related issues. Along with written discovery and associated discovery motions, Sharon conducts and defends depositions involving consumers, experts, and corporate representatives.
Sharon has significant civil litigation experience representing corporate clients in both state and federal courts. In addition to her current practice, Sharon has also represented financial services companies and major banks in residential mortgage litigation involving various federal lending laws and regulations, including the Truth in Lending Act, Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, and Fair Credit Reporting Act, as well as state consumer protection statutes, such as the California Homeowner Bill of Rights. Additionally, Sharon has extensive experience defending corporate entities in product liability and toxic tort actions.
Sharon received her juris doctor degree from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, where she was awarded the CALI Award in Legal Writing and Research and served as an articles editor for the Hastings Law Journal.
